Stem Cell Therapy
Stem cells can be guided into becoming specific cells that can be used to regenerate and repair tissues that have been damaged or affected by disease.
Here at Rose Hill we have two different types of stem cell treatments to choose from.
What is Amnion Therapy?
Amnion therapy injects amnion allograft (tissue graft) directly into the site. It contains natural factors, called growth factors, for site specific use to modulate inflammation, reduce scar tissue formation, and enhance healing. Growth factors are powerful agents that our bodies produce to signal cells to come to the target site, help the site to heal, and help your own cells regenerate the damaged tissue.
What is adult stem cell therapy?
This stem cell therapy uses your own stem cells from fat. Fat is pulled from the body, put through a special process and then re-injected back into the body.
What happens during treatment with amnion?
Rose Hill Wellness uses amnion allograft (tissue grafts) and injects the material into the treatment area during a simple outpatient procedure. Once the allograft is injected, the material stimulates the release of the body's own stem cells while also reducing inflammation for better healing. The amnion therapy also contains hyaluronic acid which lubricates joints and tendons while promoting greater mobility and improved function.
Where is Amnion Therapy used?
Amnion therapy is widely used to treat many types of pain, including:
How soon will I experience the benefits of Amnion Therapy?
Most patients notice benefits within 3 weeks to 3 months after treatment.

- Adult stem cells. These stem cells are found in small numbers in most adult tissues, such as bone marrow or fat. Compared with embryonic stem cells, adult stem cells have a more limited ability to give rise to various cells of the body
- Perinatal stem cells. Researchers have discovered stem cells in amniotic fluid as well as umbilical cord blood. These stem cells have the ability to change into specialized cells.
Amniotic fluid fills the sac that surrounds and protects a developing fetus in the uterus. Researchers have identified stem cells in samples of amniotic fluid drawn from pregnant women for testing or treatment — a procedure called amniocentesis.
